Energizing professional learning is provided at SI through dynamic CoPs tailored to meet the unique needs of educators. These collaborative groups provide AVID educators with the necessary strategies and tools to empower students and drive their success. AVID’s professional development isn’t just about teaching—it’s about transforming classrooms and helping students reach their highest potential in college and career readiness.

Marquee SI brings educators together to spark ideas, share strategies, and build connections, and in 2026, AVID’s signature learning experience gets a Kansas City twist. From the rhythm of jazz to the aroma of world-famous barbecue, the city will flavor every moment of your experience. Our state-of-the-art convention center will host three days of innovation and inspiration as we work together to advance AVID’s mission of closing the opportunity gap.
