About KC Futures
The KC Futures Commission is a leadership initiative that provides youth and young adults with a structured platform to participate in local government. Members meet regularly to learn how City decisions are made, discuss key issues impacting their communities, and collaborate on policy ideas and recommendations.
The Commission believes early civic engagement matters. When young people are involved in decision-making, they become informed, confident citizens who are prepared to enact positive change in Kansas City and beyond.
If this work speaks to you and you want to help guide KC’s future, attendees are encouraged to apply to join the Commission.
Be part of the conversation and help shape what’s next for Kansas City at the KC Futures Youth Summit.
