The Red Hot Night Board (formerly known as the Hands & Hearts for Children Auxiliary) was founded in 1986 by a small group of civic-minded Kansas Citians whose sole mission was to support the hospital through public awareness, volunteerism and fundraising. In the auxiliary’s 38 years, this collective group has raised more than $30 million in support of helping Children’s Mercy provide the highest quality of care available for children in Kansas City and the region.
This year’s event leaders are Honorary Chairs, Rob & Jennifer Welker and Andrew & Elizabeth Azan. Red Hot Night Board President, Michael Condon and Event Chairs, Matt Twyman and Bev Weber.
Your support of this year’s event will light the path forward to help fund Illuminate, a comprehensive initiative to address the mental health needs of children and teens in the community—four strategies, 14 projects and a new $150 million investment impacting more than 80,000 kids—the largest of its kind in the region.
