Kansas City Convention Center List of Prohibited Items
The following items are prohibited, and MAY NOT be brought onto the premises:
- Weapons/firearms (including but not limited to guns, ammunition, knives, pocketknives, brass knuckles, batons (full length and expandable), stun guns/tasers, pepper spray units larger than .5 fluid ounces (anything bigger than key chain size), and any other items the Convention Center deems dangerous regardless of Concealed Carry permit
- Toy firearms such as air soft guns, bb/pellet guns, and any other toy that fires a projectile
- Drones (without express permission from Convention Center Management)
- Pets (Exception of service dogs)
- Outside alcoholic beverages
- Marijuana in any form
- Illegal substances
- Hard coolers larger than 16qts (larger coolers may be allowed based on the event)
- Outside food and beverages
- Fireworks
- Artificial noise making devices (subject to event)
- Laser pointers (being used outside of presentation purposes)
- Bicycles, rollerblades, skateboards, kick scooters and electric scooters (non ADA approved)
