Hale Arena at the American Royal Center

Hale Arena at the American Royal Center is located in the historic West Bottoms of Kansas City, MO which has recently achieved the status of the next big up and coming area in Kansas City. The American Royal Center has multiple event spaces in addition to Hale Arena with the flexibility to host a variety of event types along with excellent parking. Municipal Arena

Kansas City’s Art Deco Municipal Auditorium complex includes four unique and versatile special event and banquet venues. The Arena seats 10,700; the Exhibition Hall includes 46,000 square feet on two levels for exhibitors, catered functions or special events, the Music Hall, one of the nation’s finest theaters, seats 2,363; and the Little Theatre is perfect for more intimate events. Municipal Auditorium connects directly to Level 2 of the Conference Center, to the underground parking garage and downtown hotel walkway system. The ramps and elevators facilitate the movement of freight throughout the building.

The Municipal Arena, nicknamed “Municipal,” plays host to numerous events throughout the year. The Arena has a rich history in College Basketball, often hosting the Big 12 Women’s Tournament, and is the permanent home of the NAIA Men’s Division I Basketball Tournament. Over 80 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament games have been played in the Arena, including 9 Final Fours, which is more than any other facility.

Music Hall

The Kansas City Music Hall is a large proscenium theatre with a striking streamline modern interior that seats an audience of 2,363 patrons. The hall presents touring Broadway shows, as well as visiting symphony orchestras, opera and ballet companies, and other events. It was the main hall of the Kansas City Philharmonic for several decades. It’s also the home of the 1927 Robert-Morton Theatre Pipe Organ that originally was in the Midland Theatre. The organ is owned and maintained by Kansas City Theatre Pipe Organ, Inc.

Opened in 1936, this unique Art Deco theater is the perfect facility for special convention presentations, general sessions or featured entertainment.

Bartle Exhibit Hall (A – E)

An exhibition hall the size of eight football fields.

Boasting 388,800 square feet of column-free exhibit space on one floor, Bartle Hall truly stands in a category by itself. Bartle Hall connects with major downtown hotels; 1,000 underground parking spaces; Municipal Auditorium and the Conference Center via skywalks and underground walkways. With three truck docks and 29 trailer bays, Bartle Hall reflects its carefully designed versatility and accessibility for both the public and exhibitors.
